Delve into the magic of the Elizabeth Johnston Prime Dollhouse & Toy collection – one of the largest in the United States! Witness the transformation of architecture, clothing, and furniture styles spanning across a hundred years through these elegantly embellished dollhouses, like the fascinating beauty of an 1895 English Townhouse or an 1890’s French Villa. American and European made, these houses exemplify the designs of well-known manufacturers, including Christian Hacker and Moritiz Gottschalk. Guests will see the intricate, beautiful dollhouses in our newly renovated, state of the art, environmentally controlled Collections Resource Center! This vault provides visitors with a new way to view these exceptional artifacts in a safe, climate-controlled home.
