“Karen Maurer started telling stories in childhood as a way of keeping her younger sisters and brothers entertained. As a Youth Services Librarian, she used storytelling to foster a love of words – spoken, read, sung – and stories in all their forms. Her storytelling style reminds listeners of sitting in the kitchen with a friend and a cup of tea. Expect to laugh when Karen tells stories. Expect to think. Expect to learn a different way to see the world.”

Admission $5.50, children five and under free.
Cops ‘n’ Kids will hand out two free books to each child.
